    Item note: Kiga dances. Performance note: Dances are of the same type with handclappping and some bells on dancers' legs; dance characterised by high leaping, arms stretched out in a curve like horns of cattle and strong stamps on ground. Ennanga has joined the ensemble. Performer's note: Group of Kiga from Fort Portal. Recording note: Recordings made during a visit to Fort Portal, Tooro district, for the Independence Anniversary Celebrations on the police ground. There were 4 different groups of entertainers from various parts of Tooro, performing on the field in a large roped enclosure before a large and appreciative crowd. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is on TAPE PC 7, TRACK A, item no. 5.
