Item note: Woman's song. Performance note: This recording features Nyamulere [notched bamboo flute] of the Konzo, drum, handclapping and akayinga rattle; a xylophone-like accompaniment played on the drum rim; not triplets after the opening. Performer's note: Paolo Bukombe is of the Nususgha clan, from Kirumia [Gombolola agent - young Mukonzo man]. Recording note: Recordings made during a visit to Bundibugyo, Bwamba County, Tooro District. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is on TAPE PC 7, TRACK B, item no. 10.
