Item note: This is presumably a wedding song. Each flute is recorded on its own afterwards. Performance note: This recording features Khimileli notched bamboo flutes with two stops each (Muzezza: male flute, Mukassi: female flute). Performer's note: Namwiremi is son of Wakulua of the Bwagogo clan and he plays the Muzezza [male flute] and sings. Antonio Wati, brother of Namwiremi, plays the Mukassi [female flute]. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is on TAPE PC 6, TRACK A, item no. 1..
