    Item note: Wedding music. The song is followed by analytical recordings of the two flute parts. Performance note: This recording features two Khimileli notched bamboo flutes with two stops each. Note hocketing techniques and mixture of playing and singing. Performer's note: Namwiremi is son of Wakulua of the Bwagogo clan and he plays the Muzezza [male flute] and sings. Antonio Wati, brother of Namwiremi, plays the Mukassi [female flute]. Recording note: Recorded during a visit to Khumulele: wedding flute players, Bwagogo, Manjiya County, Bugishu. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is on TAPE PC 5 TRACK B item No. 16.

The correct spelling of the title of this song is Nasiwondo not Nasiwando (according to original handwritten documentation). Compare this with Wachsmann's recordings of such flutes (very probably the same two musicians) rec. no. 54.531. Delete the words "A Musoga of the Musimbo clan." I don't know how this piece of text came to appear here.
