    Four young male singers and a dramnyan lute player from the Himalayan village Thrillam perform a Monpa dance song, dedicated to the Dalai Lama, the head of Tibetan Buddhism: “He is like our father and mother”. The lead singer and dramnyan player is Mr Jambey Lotey (d) Other singers are Rinchen Tashi, Lham Tsering, and Thutan Sherap. The artists belong to the Monpa tribe and sing in the Tibeto-Burman language Monpa.
