    Rifi genre of Iraq. The Iraqi singer Hedeiri Abou Aziz (also spelled: 'Hdhairy', 'Hedeiry' 'Khedeiri', Abu), born in Nasiriyya (southern Iraq) was the best-known Rifi singer in Iraq. Side B (0C 2331).The singer is supported by clapping. Musical instruments are: jōza (bowed fiddle, four strings and coconut shell resonator, or violin), qānūn box zither (or the santūr, a hammered dulcimer), ‘ūd and drum (darbukka?).
