Sowt genre of Bahrain. Music: Singer and ‘ūd player is Dahi Ben Walid, who lived from 1896/1898 to 1941/1951. Supported by violin and drum (mirwās?), occasionally chorus and hand clapping. Very short musical introduction (violin and ‘ūd). A percussive way of playing the lute. A violin solo concludes the piece. The title indicating that the piece is continued on the second side. Following the title in brackets ('Yamani') the piece is of Yemeni origin. Released on HMV Records; issue number 30-8267, Matrix number: 0C 2252
