Description
The first three songs were recorded at Rakiraki in October 1955. The fourth song, Isa Lei, was sung by boys at Richmond School on the island of Kadavu. It is a farewell song. The sound of the oars lapping the ocean can be clearly heard in the foreground of this recording, whilst the voices of the young boys recede into the distance. The final song accompanies a dance and is recorded in Somosomo in June 1957.
