  • Abstract

    Early 1970’s went back to playing folk music, his wife Ann also plays. Started repairing instruments when 14-15, but only started repairing concertinas in the last 12 years. Met Charlie Showers when working in Insurance. Became a full time instrument repairer about 1976. Does 2-3 concerts or clubs a week. Plays all over Somerset, Devon and Dorset. People he works with, Mainly John Chapman. Does repairs over a very wide area. Once mended four piano accordions for a fairground organ, has retuned two harmoniums [Interview continued on C1033/175].
