Abstract
part 5. Humphrey Lyttelton Band (continued). Bruce Turner. Recalls concerts in Middle East: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia etc. When Bruce Turner left the group John suggested Barnes (no relation) as a replacement. Co-led a quintet with Alan Barnes etc. but got no support and it folded. Eventually John Barnes left the Lyttelton band because he felt he "needed a change".
