'Stylistic continuity in Zulu Town Music'. In Essays for a Humanist an Offering to Klaus Wachsmann. New York: The Town House Press, pp. 216-260). This is a dubbing of a recording made in 1964. This is a recording of a Zulu speaking man, singing a solo song, self-accompanied on a steel-stringed guitar. The finger-picking (ukupika) performance style used in this song is typical of the Zulu Maskanda style popularised by John Bhengu (Phuzeshukela).</dc:description>
