        <dcterms:abstract>Part 17: JR talks about new job at St Bartholomew's Hospital, teaching physics to 1st M.B. students and also mature students. Challenge to teach physics which will be useful in medicine.  arranged all other work in order not to miss lecture. He specialised in radiation physics and radiation Biology and also taught aspects of physics at later levels in medicine and students for radiology. He was Prof. at University of London but also head of physics dept. in hospital itself. He introduced radioactive isotopes. He joined the Board of Governors of the Hospital JR had to build up the physics department also for research, fight for money especially with Dean. JR developed differ patients. Explains details. Used his knowledge of cyclotron and succeeded in getting one for the College. JR had good relations with medical consultants and established contact with all hospital departments. Started work on isotopes and explains how it is used. Also started ultrasound. When he left there were 120 people in his department. Talks about some interesting results from experiments.</dcterms:abstract>
