Description
Recording notes : In the words of the sound recordist "The afternoon is hot. These two short pieces were recorded on the other side of the hill above Noszvai, in the upper valley of Bèukkzsâerc, within an area of scrub below the true forest. A breeze teases the grasses, and insects drift by the scorched recordist. A Pheasant calls. The Barred Warbler sings against a Cuckoo, at times giving the spirited wing claps and scratchy rasps, which are diagnostic of the species. The recordist is grateful for these scraps."
