  • Description

Barry Crane comes from a show business family. As a child he would come up from the audience and interfere with the act! With his family he went to America but laws on working children prevented him from performing. Back in England he appeared in Variety, Summer Seasons and Pantomimes doing stand-up comedy, close beat tap and eccentric dancing. Barry also appeared at Bristol Old Vic playing Harry Weldon in Fred Karno’s Army. [Interview recorded at at the Grand Order of Lady Ratling's house, Roswyn, Streatham Common, London].
