David Rose, former head of Channel 4 Drama, on memories of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, West End theatre in the late 1940s, stage managing in weekly repertory, stage managing at the Watergate Theatre Club, Sadler's Wells Theatre Company and for Kurt Jooss, the relationship between theatre and early television, live drama documentaries, work with television and theatre in the 1970s.
