Description
“Granny” Bailey talks about the standard of living and working conditions in her youth. The original recording appears to have been paused on a number of occasions. Hinckley is a town to the northwest of Ullesthorpe, Lutterworth a town just to the southeast and Leicester a city to the northeast. The Club Walk refers to the annual festival of a benefit club or friendly society, often marked by a procession of the members.
