Description
Mr Small describes how the locally mined china clay was transported to Plymouth for export. Lee Moor (just to the northwest of Cornwood) is a nearby village and Cann Wood an area of woodland just to the west. Newton Abbot (to the northeast) is a nearby town and Plymouth (to the southwest) the nearest city.
