Description
Leonard talks about his working life and his father’s mill. He also recalls a character from the village in his younger days. Sladesbridge (just to the southeast of Egloshayle) is a nearby village and Wadebridge (just to the west) the nearest town. Dunmere is a village further to the southeast on the outskirts of the town of Bodmin and Exeter a city to the northwest. Salisbury Plain (further to the northwest) is one of Great Britain's best-known open spaces, consisting of a plateau-like area covering about 300 square miles in the county of Wiltshire.
