Educated at public school (Higher Grammar School) in Cirencester. Father from North Wales, mother from Gloucestershire. Can read and write in English. Additional language: a little arabic. Can play/sing music. Instrument: mandolin. Religion: protestant. Occupation: detective. Item note: John reads the Parable of the Prodigal Son (taken from Luke chapter XV, verse 11-32).
