Speaker's note: Aged 32 from Middlewich, Cheshire, England. Born 21 January 1884 in Middlewich. Lived in Middlewich until the age of six, then moved to Beeston (Chesire) where he lived until the age of 20. In the army since then. Both parents from Middlewich Can read and write in English. Religion: presbyterian. Occupation: condensed milk maker. Item note: David reads the Parable of the Prodigal Son (taken from Luke chapter XV, verse 11-32).
